Meltdown Festival ran at The Southbank Centre from Friday 9th June to Sunday 18th June and saw Christine and the Queens host the likes of Django Django, Kokoroko, Sigur Rós & London Contemporary Orchestra, and Warpaint. Other legendary artists to have curated the festival include David Bowie, Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Nick Cave, Lee Scratch Perry and Jarvis Cocker.
Headlining the show themselves, the performance was described as a “two-hour rock opera dramatising Christine and the Queens’ latest album, PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE” (Guardian).
