Following the last minute postponement of the Mercury Prize award ceremony due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Self Esteem helped donate leftover food from the event the homeless in London.

After the announcement, Self Esteem made a call out to Twitter to anyone who might be able to help transport the food meant for the ceremony to homeless charities and organisations in London. Amrit Maan, owner of the Punjab Covent Garden restaurant who has worked with numerous homeless charities, replied and helped ensure the food was safely transported from the awards ceremony, where it was frozen and distributed the following day, supporting Under One Sky – a volunteer-led not-for-profit set up to support vulnerable communities in society.
