About the Role:
This role sits within Inside Out Agency, supporting and managing the development and execution of publicity campaigns across the agency’s artist roster, as well as events and special projects. The role is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious publicist to play a major part in shaping the future of one of the UK’s most respected agencies. Alongside working with the agency’s current roster of clients, the candidate will be required to identify and secure new business opportunities.
Requirements:
– Deeply connected to the global music, media, and cultural landscape
– Experience of managing creative and dynamic publicity campaigns from inception to delivery, showing evidence of new ideas and approaches to reach audiences
– Confident written and verbal communicator; comfortable drafting press releases, pitches, proposals, and professional correspondence
– Confident liaising with media, talent, managers, and creatives
– Highly organised with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Comfortable working with budgets, timelines, deliverables, and reporting
– Strong relationships with contacts across all areas of media
– The ability to think creatively across all media formats to create dynamic, cohesive campaigns
– Digitally fluent with a strong understanding of social platforms and creators, and new forms of media and storytelling
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment
– Minimum two years experience in publicity, marketing, or a related cultural/commercial role
Key responsibilities:
– Develop, outline and implement creative multimedia publicity campaigns – integrating digital, print, video and social platforms
– Develop and strengthen relationships with labels, managers and prospective clients to maintain existing client relationships and to secure new business
– Support team members and assist in campaign planning and strategy across the Agency
– Attend relevant client events including performances, meetings and promo across the company roster
– Write and distribute press releases and execute the distribution of promotional materials
– Effectively report on campaigns according the standard company protocol
– Monitor and report any new tools which may benefit the company or artists
– Oversee, manage and mentor Assistants and Interns as required
– Prepare proposals, pitches and presentations, and attend meetings, for potential clients
– Represent, network and attend events relevant to company growth and new business
– Maintain awareness of industry news and developments as well as broader social current affairs
– Support the ongoing growth and commercial development of the publicity business as well as the entire Inside Out Agency
– Help shape the strategy and roster of the Agency moving forward.
Office hours are 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday in our London office
We offer hybrid working (four days in the office) but flexibility is required
